Attracting Higher Paying Adsense AdsIn this article, I am not going to cover the basics on how to get visitors to your sites. What I do want to try and focus in on, is once you get a visitor to your site and he or she clicks on one of your ads, you want to make sure that the ad which they click on will pay you a lot of money. You are not going to make a lot of money even if hundreds of people click on your ads a day and you are only paid a cent a click. However, if even if 10s of people click on your ad a day and you receive dollars per click, then your revenue will quickly mount up.One of the problems with determining the amount per click is that Google is very hush hush about how much they will pay you. At present, they seem to have enough of a monopoly to be able to do this. In the future with the emerging of other similar companies, they may have to change this. However, there is a competitor who is prepared to show you the top bids on any keyword or phrase. This competitor is Overture, and their keyword tool can be found at: http://uv.bidtool.overture.com/d/search/tools/bidtool/
The way to use it is to understand, that there is probably a strong correlation between the top bids on Overture and the top bids on Google Adsense. Although we can not be certain of this, there is strong evidence to suggest it. If you enter the phrase internet marketing in the Overture tool you will find that the top 3 bidders are prepared to pay $5.09, $3.16, $3.04 (on the day of writing this article) . In fact, there are a total of 32 different sites bidding on this phrase going right down to a value of $1 per click. You are able to see both their advert and also the url which a click on their ad will take you. It is quite likely, that if a company is prepared to pay that kind of money to have a click on the Overture network, then they will also be prepared to pay that on Google either. Even if that specific company is advertising on Overture and not on Google, then it is likely that there are similar companies who are advertising on Google and more than will to pay around the same amount.
